crossroads

in half my heart it aches and so it churns

two roads diverged and we have gone astray

my weeping eyes the ice begins to burn

the moon will have to wait another day

your silhouette I see among the stars

though none see I among the grass

now my brave thoughts of where and who you are

my one true love we’ve taken separate paths

but past the pines I see a glimpse of blue

the mist, my eyes, my thoughts have turned to clouds,

now there some figures walk, among them which is you

you see me, my heart now grows and pounds,

doth long a time now passed I come to see

your laugh, your smile, your love is still for me
