The sun in

All its glory and

Splendor, its

Warmth so tender

The life it brought

With its wondrous shine

So much so that

The tiny pearls that lit up

The sky, and the curious

Creatures of Earth gazed at

It, in awe and wonder

But, only its celestial

Neighbor was aware of

The truth

How saddening it was,

She thought, for the Sun

To be blinded by its

Own light
